I’ve just added two new pages which deal with the general history of Classic Trials. The first is a Historical bits and pieces page, which includes a brief history of the various ACTC magazines. The second is the rather more lengthy How One became Three page, still in draft, which covers my ongoing research into how we arrived at the three modern trials disciplines.
Page updated, to list the documents which are available online.
I’ve just published a new Videos page, including the notes and YouTube links from the videos pages of the old Wheelspin website with a number of more-recently available videos, mostly uploaded by Pete Hart from the Bristol Motor Club archives. I also hope to add links to at least one Ford promotional movie, similar to the Austin 8 one, over the next few days.
I’ve decided to take the plunge and relaunch the Wheelspin website in its new mobile-friendly format, even though the transition from the old site is not yet complete. Please ignore any minor glitches, bad links, and missing images, over the next few days as I tidy things up.
In December 2015 I took the plunge and decided to:
- Re-design the site using the mobile-friendly WordPress platform.
- Re-focus the site content. Read more here.
Those familiar with the previous Wheelspin website will see that most of the Sections and Trials pages – which form the core of the new site – have already been re-published, and the remainder of the pages will be re-published over time in the Miscellany pages.
